Part-Time Center Associate ($9/hr - $13/hr)
Job description
The Part-Time Center Sales Associate is Open to Challenges: Big Problem, Big Smile – That’s how you handle things.
This role would be for 10-20 hours a week with availability Weekdays from 10am - 2pm (2-4 days), Sundays from 10am - 3pm.
Essential Traits, Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales: You aren't afraid to ask for the sale. Confidently explain various products and services. This includes upselling and cross selling products to the customer at hand.
Detailed Data Entry: Clients need you to complete multi-step processes to help them achieve their goals.
Problem Solver: Clients often have problems that they will need you to figure out for them. You will need to become the expert.
Cleaning & Organizing: Vacuum, sweep, dust, wipe, shine. Everyone on the team works on keeping the store clean and debris free.
Work on Corporate Accounts: Become the lead on processing customer drop-offs for Amazon, Spectrum, AT&T and various other large clients.
Products & Services:
Shipping Services: Receive & process packages for UPS, US Post Office or Freight services including lifting & weighing packages on scale, accessing counter manifest shipping software, generating labels, providing receipts & tracking information to customers.
Packaging Services: Perform estimates on packing fragile and high value items. Help customers select moving supplies.
Document Services: Operate binding, laminating, fax, digital printers, computers and other machines in a safe & efficient. Help customers select business cards, stationery, imprinted products, etc.
Mailbox services: Explain mailbox service rates, benefits and the mailbox services agreement. Receive, log in, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately. Forward mail per customer instructions.
Notary Service: Act as a Notary Public on behalf of the State of North Carolina, verify customers have appropriate identification and are signing documents appropriately and of their free will.
Pay Range
$12 - $13/hr - 2+ years work/retail experience, Incentivized by Sales Goals, Weekend Availability, Team Contributor
$9 - $11/hr - <1 year work experience, high school graduate, little experience working with the public
Job Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time required.
Type 30+ WPM
English fluency required. Spanish desired.
Current notary public or ability to obtain Notary certification.
