Job description
Parks/Pipestem Resort State Park/Summers County Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of general grounds maintenance work at Pipestem Resort State Park. Will mow grass using riding mowers, push mowers and string trimmers. Cut and split firewood. Repair and paint signs. Operate equipment such as snowplows, backhoe, road grater, tractors, ditch witch and bulldozer. Performs maintenance on trails. Duties may require some physical labor and vary seasonally. During absence of supervisor will oversee work of two full-time and approximately seven seasonal employees. Helps train seasonal employees on safe and efficient work methods and how to use equipment. Will help with the preparation of payroll. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Performs related work as required. Regular attendance is essential in this position.
