Could This Be For You?:
We are seeking a Paralegal - Remote who will support Hanger's Real Estate Department. This role will be primarily responsible for the preparation, review and occasionally negotiation of lease documents and contracts related to the Company's owned or leased commercial properties.
Your Impact:
  • Prepare and/or reviews legal documents particularly lease documents and contracts related to owned or leased commercial properties.
  • Redline commercial lease documents, SNDAs, Estoppels, and other related commercial lease documents.
  • Assist Senior Supervisor, Real Estate Contracts and the Mergers and Acquisitions team with due diligence process, including review of Lease documentation and abstraction of vital Lease information, drafting of notices and amendments and consent to assignments and Leases related to acquisitions.
  • Assist with the routing and signature of various documents, forms and leases.
  • Create lease records and abstract Lease information in the Costar database, create transactions and upload documents in a timely manner.
  • Other work as may be assigned by Senior Supervisor, Real Estate Contracts to support various functions in the Real Estate department.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (AA) or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or at least three years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Paralegal certificate a plus.
Additional Success Factors:
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness, persistence to overcome obstacles, good problem solving skills, and ability to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word redlining program. Database management and Costar experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to respond promptly to customer needs and meet service commitments; prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and be effective working independently and in team situations.
  • Strong ability to collect, research and analyze data, and to identify and solve practical problems in a timely manner; able to deal with a variety of variables in situations where some standardization may exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, landlords, contractors, agents and brokers, and the general public.
  • Exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions; make timely decisions. Must understand business implications of decisions and work within approved budgets.
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as rental rates proportionate share, square footage, etc.

Pay range of $27.17 per hour to $40.76 per hour + annual bonus: up to 5% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
