PARALEGAL

Introduction

Pinsent Masons Vario provides a range of professional services to our clients. These include flexible legal provision, diversity and inclusion consultancy, legal project management, legal technology consultancy and managed legal services.

We have developed a new Paralegal Centre of Excellence, which brings together a range of paralegal skills and capabilities, which provides a variety of services to our lawyers and clients.

Role Overview

You will be working as part of a team in the Paralegal Centre of Excellence, supporting our lawyers with a variety of technical, administrative and client relationship tasks. Within the Centre of Excellence there will be opportunities to work across all practice areas. There are currently vacancies for roles that will have a focus on:

  • Projects (inc. Construction); and
  • Insurance, Regulation & Products.

. Relevant Skills/Experience

We are keen to hear from you if you hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous Paralegal or Legal Exec experience.
  • Experience of working in a large commercial law firm and understanding of the levels of service delivery required
  • Previous experience of a document management system, relating to extranets and data site management
  • Strong people skills and ability to project credible and professional image to the client
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Project management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to achieve deadlines
  • IT literate with a good knowledge and high degree of competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Please note that a Legal Practice Course is not required for this role, but it would be beneficial.
