Our growing plaintiff firm focuses on asbestos and toxic tort cases and we have an immediate need for an experiences Asbestos Paralegal to help manage our caseload and assist in trial preparation. Our firm focuses on obtaining the best results for individual, high-value claims (no class actions). The verdict in our last trial was in our favor for $32 million, and the entire trial was selected to be live-streamed by a national trial network.
Job Overview:
This position will need a team player willing to assist in everything from administrative duties, such as answering phones, checking the mail, and monitoring emails to assisting in day-to-day case management, such as calendaring hearings and deadlines and drafting legal documents and pleadings, including deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, briefs, and complaints. Most of our cases are filed in Los Angeles, but we have ongoing cases around the country in both state and federal courts.
