Job description

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Build, install, and repair walls and partitions, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishing. Install and repair finishes, such as laminates. Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry. Repair, maintain and construct wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the property. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats. Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
Order items, including filling out requisitions, obtaining manager approval, and using appropriate vendors. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
