Location: Houston (Greater Heights) TX. 77008.
Salary Range: $74,000 - $111,000.
Shift pattern: 11p – 7a (Sun-Thurs)
Permanent contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced RN to join our growing healthcare team. If successful, you will be responsible for providing care to patients who have undergone surgical procedures and are in the post-anesthesia care unit. You will work closely with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care, and that their recovery is managed effectively following their surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing the patient’s condition and monitoring vital signs post-surgery
• Creating and implementing individualized care plans for each patient
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
• Educating patients and their families on postoperative care
• Communicating and documenting patient progress
• Recognizing and addressing immediate postoperative complications
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as an RN in Texas (or eligible to obtain)
• At least two years of experience in post-anesthesia care unit
• BSN or higher from an accredited program
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
