Purpose: The Packer Trainer will model Berry’s good Manufacturing Practices provide structured training for packers on the shift; evaluate employee’s progress and provide status needs to the shift supervisor. The Packer Trainer ensures that training is uniform and consistent and is able to perform all the functions of a packer.Responsibilities:

- Ensure training is uniform and consistent
- Evaluate employees progress and sign off on training checklist
- Train all new employees on the lines within the plant
- Follow all safety and GMP practices of Berry
- Understand how all lines within the plant operate and be able to train effectively for each line
- Implement and maintain 5S
- Assign breaks for packers
- Helpig utility operator give breaks
- Maintain all training paperwork
- Ensure quality checks are being done
- Operate a line when no training is needed or short staffed
- Must know how to operate each line within the plant and perform all duties as a packer
- Must have good attendance and safety record
- Must be able to communicate effectively
