1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Friday (OT based on production needs) $16/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for various duties, including but not limited to, quality inspections of parts, accurate counting of parts, following pack processes, and packaging of parts. This individual is also responsible for the facilitation of the line to ensure quality and safety processes are followed while obtaining production rates.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred

· Team and safety oriented

· Communication and interpersonal skills

· Manufacturing experience preferred

· Basic mechanical abilities preferred

· Problem solving skills

· Process and detail oriented

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Follow the process sheets when packaging parts and report any quality issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
• Delegate and assign job responsibilities of team members to ensure processes are followed and job rotation occurs.
• Inspect the parts and process before, during and after each packaging job.
• Record and maintain packaging rates; reporting any scrap.
• Accurately count production, labels, pallets, finished goods, etc.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25-35 pounds continuously, and less than 25 pounds frequently.
• Capable of standing for an 8 hour shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb and pick items up
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained on packaging line.
• Report all incidents, near misses and accidents promptly to your shift supervisor.
• Use proper ergonomic techniques.
• Help promote a team atmosphere.
• Be customer focused and provide opportunities for improvement to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
