Top Pot Doughnuts is looking for a delivery driver to join our exceptional overnight team. The person that fills this position can expect to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights from 8p-4a.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

This is a full-time role and not a seasonal or temporary position. Top Pot Doughnuts offers a competitive benefits package. Summary:

This position is responsible for driving the company delivery truck to deliver products to Cafés and other locations by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver doughnuts, coffee and coffee related items, mail, cafe supplies and other company merchandise to Cafés and back to the bakery, support office or other locations.
• Record daily delivery information on daily delivery records.
• Comply with customer’s property and security requirements (e.g., wholesale deliveries, guard keys, set alarm).
• Collect or pick up empty trays, baker racks, coffee packaging and other materials and returns to appropriate facility.
• Load products on truck to ensure safe and timely arrival at destination.
• Clean inside of truck at the end of each shift.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections, maintenance. Reports concerns immediately to management.
• Re-fuels vehicles.
• Comply with all local department of transportation rules and regulations while driving company vehicles.
• Assist in training new drivers on routes.
• Adhere to Top Pot policies, procedures and training guidelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience and confidence operating a box truck from 16 to 20 feet in length.
• A valid Washington State driver's license
• Clear DOL report from Washington State for the prior 12 months
• Current insurance is required.
• A food handler's permit is required.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment

Work Environment:

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; move hands and arms in a stirring motion; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
