Hourly Rate: $17.50 per hour + $2.50 shift differential / $250 Sign-on BONUS!

Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5am to 3pm (eligible for shift differential pay)

Responsibilities as an Oven Operator:

• Operating intricate equipment with critical safety protocols (ovens, kronen, urchels)
• Heavy lifting and high attention to detail is required
• Safely utilize a variety of utensils including knifes
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
• Help keep the production facility clean and organized
• Follow all safety, GMP, and QSF policies/procedures
• Process food using techniques and equipment that may have an increased physical safety risk and has a food safety check associated (CCP)
• Step up for lead when lead is absent to ensure that all work is completed in full and on time for that respective functional area
• Act as point of contact for functional area, communicate status updates with Assistant Supervisors in absence of leads

Necessary knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Previous experience in kitchen, food prep, or food service related work preferred
• Knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
• Able to stand and work for long periods of time (8+ hour shifts) in a cold environment (around 40 degrees) and lift at least 40 lbs.
• Able to stay organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
