Large National SUD provider seeking full time licensed clinicians to join a new dynamic leadership team in Chester County to implement a new care model for Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, and traditional Outpatient Services with a focus on mission, access to treatment, compassionate patient-centered & family care, utilizing evidence based practices that demonstrate strong outcomes which support individuals living their best life in recovery.

As a Primary Outpatient Therapist at RCA, you'll be a part of our exciting mission of helping millions of people jumpstart their recovery. Your clinical and social work expertise will aid in patient recovery, as you support and implement evidence-based techniques while making a difference in the lives of patients, their families, and communities. Our Substance Abuse Counselors pave the way in various therapy settings, teach patients to overcome the past, and provide the skills and strategies needed to overcome addiction.

The Primary Outpatient Therapist oversees day to day patient care for identified case load (across SUD service lines PHP, IOP, GOP) including providing primary and specialty group and individual services, coordination of treatment, referral and collateral contacts, treatment planning, case management and biopsychosocial assessment to ensure the patient enjoys a cohesive treatment experience where all are working together toward the same goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains appointed continuous caseload by providing individual, family and group counseling, crisis intervention, as well as education and skills training (in PHP, IOP, GOP services).
  • Completes biopsychosocial intake assessments and appropriately determines level of care per the ASAM Criteria both in person and virtually upon request.
  • Charges and collects co-payments, self-pay or no-show fees prior to each point of service.
  • Monitors oversight of client's substance use by overseeing random drug screenings and addressing results with clients.
  • Collaboratively develops and updates an individualized treatment plan with the individual that includes all identified problems, goals, and discharge planning in a SMART format.
  • Defines all relevant community sources affecting care and treatment of the client (e.g. legal, family, outside providers.) and communicates with those sources to coordinate care and continued treatment.
  • Updates referral sources, primary care doctor/other providers, and family members on patient progress, if/as approved by the individual in services.
  • Utilizes and incorporates evidenced based practices and standardized screening tools into treatment to engage clients in services and facilitate progress in treatment.
  • Maintains client medical records for compliance and quality per company and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Addictions, Psychology or related field.
  • License to practice independently preferred (LPC, LCSW)
  • Licensure required for GOP and preferred for PHP/IOP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
