JOB SUMMARY*:
To provide outpatient mental health services to the citizens of Winona, La Crosse, Houston, Fillmore, Wabasha, Goodhue and other participating County partners, in a non-profit community mental health clinic setting with other licensed professionals. This position provides mental health assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, consultation, referral services and supports for individuals, families, groups, and the community at large. As an outpatient therapist, you will experience working with a solid team of professionals and access to trainings on Evidenced Based Practices. As a Clinical Trainee, you will receive free on-site clinical/licensure supervision. Fully licensed mental health professionals will have access to ongoing multi-disciplinary consultation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:*
1. Education: Applicable MN MHP Licensure or License Eligible Clinical Trainee. Minimum graduate degree in mental health field of study. Educational requirements completed to meet clinical trainee designation.
2. Experience: Two years’ experience and licensed as an LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC preferred but not required; will consider clinical trainee candidates.
3. Worker Traits: Must possess a high level of human relation skills and an aptitude for effective decision-making. Must be organized, able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and be able to demonstrate appropriate problem-solving skills. Must work well on a team of therapists and coordinate as necessary to support the treatment of clients. Must also work well with other agency staff and respond to reasonable demands placed on them outside of their clinical work by agency staff.
4. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
5. Must possess a vehicle valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel as needed to client or organization locations throughout SE MN.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:*
Must be able to move around the office on a daily basis. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must communicate with others and exchange information. This is primarily a sedentary position (standing and/or sitting). Employee regularly operates a computer and other office equipment on a daily basis. Occasional bending and lifting of office materials up to 30 lbs.
