WHAT DOES YOUR DAY JOB LOOK LIKE:
The Outbound Warehouse Manager is a key managerial role that oversees the accurate and timely inventory movements of finished goods including the outbound business to business shipping activities for the company.
This position leads and coaches employees to meet/exceed all requirements for outbound deliveries and minimize delinquent shipments. Importantly, this position will maintain a safe working environment when supporting the department goals of domestic and international order fulfillment as well as accurate RTS inventory.
The Outbound Warehouse Manager will manage several direct reports associated with finished goods movements. The successful candidate must also be able to identify problems, solve them, act decisively, and show good judgment when issues are escalated on the floor. Specifically, this position is responsible for the daily scheduling of personnel associated with the preparation, delivery, and reporting of outbound shipments, and will be trained to act as back up to the International Shipping Coordinator as needed.
This person will also act as the key internal liaison for the company’s finished goods movements including the precise location and count of finished goods residing in the finished goods warehouse. Visibility of inventory movements internally and externally is paramount to the success of this role, as is pick accuracy. This person will also be responsible for tracking data necessary for the analytics and reporting of finished goods movements, variously using eWM, SAC and other dashboards, Excel Flash Reports, obsolete inventory, cycle counts shall involve others as appropriate and gather information from a variety of sources as needed for reporting requirements.

Managerial Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and demonstrate the company’s culture of “ Safety First”
  • Lead weekly meetings to discuss current topics and communicate production expectations for the week
  • Deconstruct errors/failures to identify and recommend corrective actions
  • Plan and allocate staff to maintain proper headcount for prioritized daily output as outlined in the daily roster for shippers, international staging and RTS shipments
  • Organize and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met
  • Supervise the Shipping Lead’s domestic shipment activities
  • Supervise the INTL Lead’s shipment activities
  • Supervise all Hazardous Materials work product performed by shippers
  • Support the resolution of floor issues that are escalated by the Shipping Lead
  • Run payroll activities for the finished goods warehouse employees
  • Maintain time off requests and data entry of time and attendance in HRIS software
  • Perform consistent monthly and annual performance reviews for all assembly members on the shipping team
  • Learn all department SOPs, utilize SOP based training to train or oversee the training of specific team members
  • Develop and revise department SOPs associated with outbound logistics activities
  • Train employees as needed (HazMat, shipping documentation)
Material Handling and Shipping
  • Execute finished goods warehouse receiving activities from the Mission Street warehouse
  • Oversee the proper handling and recording of stock transactions for finished RTS product
  • Responsible for accurate eWM storage location of finished goods
  • Responsible for accurate count of finished goods
  • Work with production analyst to track and monitor output and quality per station
  • Ensure additional quality checks are performed to achieve required quality for international shipments
  • Update workflow process documentation
  • Communicate with other departments and teams as needed for necessary materials movements
  • Conducts a daily review of open orders, missed pickups and material inventory status, providing updates to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct a daily review of the resource report and GR Zone with materials handlers
International Logistics Supervision
  • Oversee the proper and timely packaging of international shipments of complete bikes, frames, RSV wheels, forks, kits, small parts, soft goods, and other parcels together with ensuring the accuracy of all related commercial invoices
  • Communicate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering or Finance team to ensure accurate orders and shipment
Warranty and Returns Supervision
  • Oversee the proper and timely packaging of warranty shipments
  • Oversee the proper receipt and triage of returned goods
  • Communicate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering or Finance team to ensure accurate orders and shipment
  • Monitor warranty inventory SKUs and counts to identify obsolete or no longer needed products
  • Research and answer warranty inquiries from the Sales or Production team
  • Maintain accurate report of pending warranty shipments
  • Minimize delinquent warranty deliveries
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • At least two years’ experience as a warehouse manager and/or Senior Production Lead - Outbound Logistics
  • Experience with ERP software, warehouse management systems and Microsoft Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact in a competent and professional demeanor with all levels of management and staff, and with external customers and carriers
  • Ability to motivate the Finished Goods team in a positive manner
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions and meet deadlines
  • Ability to continually encourage employee engagement and promote a positive team atmosphere
  • Experience in working with individuals one-on-one to train on new tasks and responsibilities
  • Develop team members in their careers with the company
  • Demonstrated ability to finish the job at hand and know when extra effort, time or resource is needed
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

SALARY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $80,000 to $95,000
