Oracle Project Accounting Consultant

Please note this role is specific to integration and support of the Oracle Project Accounting (OPA) module. Only people with that specific module experience will be considered.

Client is seeking an Oracle Project Accounting consultant to support our client in Houston TX with their integration project.

In this role, the consultant will develop, test and deploy data conversion scripts and documentation in the Oracle EBS Project Accounting module.

• Collaborate with the business on data conversion needs.
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and ensure production and quality of applications meets specifications of operational schedules and business activities.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
• Develop or modify application programs from detailed specifications. Code, test, debug, and document programs.
• Develop and maintain application interfaces, conversion programs, and custom functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of experience with technical support of Oracle EBS Systems modules w/ Oracle Project Accounting (OPA) module experience, including:
• SQL, PL/SQL
• XML
• Oracle Forms and Reports or BI Publisher
• Developing shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment
• Backend table structures for any Oracle eBusiness system module required
• Oracle database (highly preferred)

• 4 years of Advance OAF debugging (required)
• 4 years of OAF Personalization (required)
• Experience in Apex development (is preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.32 - $80.76 per hour
