We are are looking for opticians to join our multi-doctor, three location growing practice. The position is 4 days per week and most Saturdays. One year of optical experience is required and you must have a positive, team attitude.

Job duties for opticians at Broad View Eye Center:

• Assisting patients with eye wear selection
• Educating patients on lens design and lens options (AR treatments, materials, progressive designs)
• Collecting payment, ordering and submitting the claim for glasses and contacts to insurance.
• Adjustment and repair of glasses
• Dispensing of new glasses
• Answering phones, scheduling appointments

Required skills include:

• Using a lensometer
• Understanding how to interpret insurance benefits
• Taking basic lens measurements (PD, seg. Height, etc.)
• Frame repair and adjustment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
