COMPANY OVERVIEW

Vesta Property Services provides property management and related services to developers of planned unit communities and residential associations. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Vesta offices are strategically located throughout the Sunshine State. Vesta employs over 1,500 trained and educated professionals providing a wide spectrum of services to residents of more than 300,000 homes in over 800 communities.

SUMMARY

The Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESinclude the following:

· Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.

· Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.

· Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.

· Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.

· Determines labor needs to meet production goals.

· Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.

· Coordinates with marketing and sales departments to determine pricing, timing, and number of sales promotions, and products to be sold.

· Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization’s operations manual and policies.

· Assists with personnel hiring, employee retention, etc.

· Performs other related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position oversees the entire facility.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a largely sedentary role; Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

TRAVEL:

Limited travel is expected for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.

Five to seven years prior experience.
