Position Description:
The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for the Marketing department’s training development and delivery. This includes working with all areas of the department on development, maintenance of training materials, documentation of processes, and facilitating trainings and refreshers.
Additionally, the Marketing Operations Specialist would support the Manager, Marketing Operations on job duties including Process Governance, Marketing Playbook, Business Plan Initiatives and Marketing Annual Communication Planning. This role requires a high level of collaboration and knowledge of the Marketing department functions and their interconnectivity.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading and supporting the development and ongoing evolution of training across the department.
  • Assisting with leading cross-functional teams of Marketing associates to understand existing processes, identify gaps, update current processes, and create new processes.
  • Implementing and managing governance over process execution and adherence.
  • Supporting in the development of Marketing’s annual playbook of activity.
  • Overseeing the department wide assessment of human and financial resources required to support BPIs during the review and approval phase.
  • Documenting Marketing Annual Communications Planning.
  • Leading projects and initiatives requiring high-level management oversight.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent experience
  • Two years of project, process, and/or operations management experience.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft 365 applications
  • Knowledge of the Publix Marketing department structure and interconnectivity
  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working.
  • Knowledge and understanding the interrelationships among various parts of the organization.
  • Willingness to generate unique solutions and ideas to address problems and improve work efficiencies, productivity, and customer service.
