USPI Baylor Medical Center at Trophy Club, is seeking a motivated OR Director to join our team. Located just west of Grapevine, TX off of Highway 114, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club has been a top choice for local physicians that serves all people through exemplary health care and community service. We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site.

Job Summary: The OR Director is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The OR Director oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services. Assists as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary. The Director identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. The OR Director establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Director identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The OR Director works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.

Baccalaureate degree preferred.

Five (5) years' experience in surgery as circulator

Two (2) years' experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.

Current Texas RN License- BLS

CNOR preferred- Independent decision-making skills.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
