Northwest Essex Therapeutic School and Preschool is seeking One-On-One Aide's to assist Teachers in classrooms with students with developmental disabilities.

This position requires experience working in a school setting.

Experience with students with developmental disabilities is a plus.

This position requires patience, an energetic and positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

You will be working as a team member within the classroom so a team player attitude and approach is a must!

Position Summary:

• Salary: $84.00 per day thru June 30, 2022
• $100 per day starting July 1, 2022
• Hours are Monday- Friday 8:00am-2:15pm
• Resume building experience.
• Paid Time Off

This position requires medical and drug test clearance as well as background clearance that includes fingerprinting.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a school setting
• Some experience with students with disabilities a plus: 1 year
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
• Good communication skills

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• College Credits (60 or more) a plus
• Substitute Certification is a plus
