Rockwood South Hill is looking for a friendly, informative, and welcoming front desk agent/concierge to join our team, this is an on-call position. As a Front Desk Concierge, you will serve as a positive first impression of the company at all times, while handling the daily responsibilities of a Concierge with efficiency and ease.
Work Shift: Part-time (Saturday-Tuesday) or On-call.
Pay Range: $16 - $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and direct residents and visitors within the campus.
• Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Trained to know the proper procedures for fire drills and will notify security of any problems or concerns.
• Update and keep accurate all forms related to the front desk operations
• Manage the desk with dignity and respect for others
• Provide support services to other departments and residents as needed
• Have a complete understanding of the fire/safety/disaster procedures and what your role is in each area
• Ability to think on your feet and problem solve as issues arrive
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff and maintain a good working relationship with all staff.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience handling receptionist responsibilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel).
• Highly organized individuals who work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills.
