Property Management Company is looking for a hardworking, detail oriented individual to be the point person for all office functions. This position is 35 hours per week and in located in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate is customer service orientated and a quick learner, cable of multi-tasking, can work independently as well as be a strong team player. The position requires someone with strong time management skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Capability with operating standard office equipment including printer/scanner, fax machines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

· Maintains filing in accordance with company policy. *

· Professionally answers a multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages, and effectively directs calls and messages to appropriate party.

· Maintains office supply inventory, including ordering of supplies and managing budget for office supplies.

· Collects residential rent and resolves all delinquency items in a timely manner in conjunction with the Property Manager.

· Process application requests and received applications. Ensure that applications are logged confirmation letters are mailed.

· Ensure that all interim change requests are promptly processed and logged on tracking spreadsheet.

· Prepare applicants for precertification and complete move-in and move-out paperwork. *

· Assist Property Manager in annual re-certification process. * Experience with section 8 re-certifications a plus. *

· Processes invoices for payment in the absence of the Property Manager. *

· Reports resident concerns and issues to the Property Manager for resolution. *

· Complies with all company policies and regulations.

· Prepares correspondence, bulletins, notices and reports as needed.

· Coordinates resident events with Property Manager and outside vendors.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required education:

  • Associate degree preferred

Required experience:

  • Office Assistant: 2 years
  • Property Management Experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
