Hercules Fence is a premier fence and perimeter security company in the VA/DC/MD area. We excel in residential, commercial, and high security work at some of the most prestigious locations in the United States. We are seeking a reliable and qualified full-time Office Assistant for our Norfolk location.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a timely and courteous manner
- Greet and assist customers and office visitors with professionalism and efficiency
- Respond to inquiries and provide basic information
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and other departments as required
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Order office supplies and maintain office equipment
- Serve as point of contact for deliveries
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Prefer 1-3 years of administrative office experience and customer service
- Previous construction industry experience helpful
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of basic office duties to include scanning, faxing and filing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Other:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- High School Education or GED preferred
