Hercules Fence is a premier fence and perimeter security company in the VA/DC/MD area. We excel in residential, commercial, and high security work at some of the most prestigious locations in the United States. We are seeking a reliable and qualified full-time Office Assistant for our Norfolk location.

Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a timely and courteous manner
  • Greet and assist customers and office visitors with professionalism and efficiency
  • Respond to inquiries and provide basic information
  • Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and other departments as required
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Order office supplies and maintain office equipment
  • Serve as point of contact for deliveries

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Prefer 1-3 years of administrative office experience and customer service
  • Previous construction industry experience helpful
  • Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of basic office duties to include scanning, faxing and filing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Other:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • High School Education or GED preferred
