Job Description Office Assistant - Cortez CO.

Purpose/Description:

Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at establishment and location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization. Assist departments with reviewing, processing, and scanning various time sensitive documents profeciently. Assist with various tasks as needed.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • On-the-job training.

Knowledge Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing , managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.English LanguageKnowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Computers and ElectronicsKnowledge of computer software, including applications and programming.Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Hours and Days of Work:

  • This position will require the candidate to be availabe to work during office hours. The office is open Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will be expected to be here during your assigned working time in order to complete your assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Keep work area clean and tidy in order to give a positive impression of the company to anyone who walks in the door.

  • Logs intake of patient referrals and forwards to intake coordinator.
  • Maintain safe and professional working and treatment environment in the agency.
