Summary of Opportunity:

In this role you will be an integral part of our chain of Florida Mind Health Center. At FHM, our goal is for our patients to succeed and be happy and healthy. With years of medical experience, knowledge, and prior ketamine application, our team of qualified medical experts can provide patients with life-changing holistic treatments. As Clinic Administrator, you will support the day-to-day operations of our 3 clinics (Tallahassee, Gainesville, Panama City), including but not limited to engagement with office medical staff personnel, handling phones, providing initial non-clinical information about available services and costs, scheduling of consultations, procedures and follow up calls, managing supply inventory and order, correspondence with referring physicians and other external entities, billing and invoice coordination, and electronic medical record management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and emails
  • Provide initial non-clinical information about available services and costs
  • Schedule consultations and procedures
  • Welcome everyone entering office
  • Check patients in and out
  • Create, manage and maintain electronic patient records
  • Coordinate billing and patient invoicing
  • Correspond with referring physicians and other external entities as needed
  • Manage and maintain clinic supply inventory
  • Assists in recruitment, onboarding process of staff to build and maintain a high-performing team
  • Supports clinician in maintaining compliance with regulations related to the operations of the medical practice such as HIPAA
  • Additional duties or special projects as needed
  • Potentially once a month travel to other 2 clinic locations (Tallahassee, Panama City)

Experience:

  • 3 or more years experience in a medical setting with at least 2 in a clinic administrator role
  • Experience with medical billing and insurance claims a plus
  • Behavioral health or medical clinic management experience is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or certified Medical Assistant preferred
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Registered Nurse (RN) License a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
