Looking for a per diem Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rockaway Park, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluates, provides, and ensures patient’s plan of care.
- Oversees occupational therapy assistants providing guidance, discussing progress and monitoring clinical interventions/skills.
- Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques that are needed to achieve patient’s goals.
- Follows all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
- Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
- Provides skilled documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education, progress and need for services.
- Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.
Requirements include:
- Valid NY professional license
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
- New graduates are welcome
Rates Minimum $15/hour and Maximum $65/hour
