The Heritage Center of Holiday Health Care is currently seeking passionate Registered Nurses or LPNs to provide the best quality care to our residents!

$$ Incentives:

  • LPN can earn up to $32.00/hour with no experience! ($23.00/hr base pay + Dedicated Employee Bonus $3.00/hr + Weekend Option Shift Differential $6.00/hr)
  • RN can earn up to $34.00/hr with no experience! ($25.00/hr base pay + Dedicated Employee Bonus $3.00/hr + Weekend Option Shift Differential $6.00/hr)
  • Employee Referral Program: $5,000 for nurses | $1,500 for aides
  • Earn up to an additional $20.00/hr for pick-up shifts

  • PTO accrual per pay period | Separate sick time accrual

  • Full Time | Day Shift | Every other Weekend | 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Full Time | Evening Shift | Every other Weekend | 3p-11p
  • Full Time | Night Shift | Weekend Option | 7:00 pm -7:00 am
  • Full Time | Day Shift | Weekend Option | 7:00 am -3:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to commute to Evansville, IN
  • Valid LPN/RN license in the State of Indiana
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately assess and make sound nursing judgement, deal effectively with all levels of nursing personnel, and work effectively as part of the nursing team

Responsibilities:

  • Meets with members of the team to assess, plan, and evaluate resident care
  • Communicates changes in behavior, condition, and episodes of abuse to the Assistant Unit Director, Unit Director, On-Call Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing
  • Makes periodic rounds to all residents to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status
  • Reports to resident, family, and/or interested person the resident's change in condition and care provided
  • Enters into the medical record pertinent observations of the resident's status according to established facility guidelines
  • Administers medication and performs treatments as ordered by the physician and duly notes the same and describes effects
  • Assists in answering any call light on Unit to meet resident’s need
  • Assures problems and complaints of unit are managed in a timely and appropriate manner and reports to Assistant Unit Director, Unit Director, DON, and ADON
  • Guides, directs and counsels nursing assistants in the day-to-day process of administering nursing care
  • Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of resident care plan
  • Assists/directs post mortem care
  • Responds to emergency situations
  • Obtains specimens as ordered
  • Implements restorative and rehabilitative nursing programs
  • Upholds rights and privileges of all residents and reports to the DON or administrator when it is suspected that the resident's rights aren't upheld
