We are seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to serve seniors with compassionate, quality care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

Position Available includes working every other weekend and every other holiday:

• 2:00pm - 10:30pm - part-time 48 hours per pay period (potential to add on floor shifts to create benefit eligible position, which may increase bonus amount)

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

Responsibilities

Manages and supervises the activities of a shift. Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff. Functions in the role of Director of Nursing Services in the absences of the DON and the ADON. Oversees Memory Care unit. Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies (Care Center and apartments) in the absence of administrative staff.

Qualifications

Education: Current Minnesota RN Licensure

Experience: Previous nursing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience required. Candidates must demonstrate experience, strong leadership in managing.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal are essential.
• Proven history of good judgement and integrity
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
