ACT Medical Group Las Vegas Inc. is looking for a Nurse Practitioner.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Board certification and license.
- Pharmacy license
- DEA license
- An outstanding observation and analytical skill to diagnose and treat/manage patient effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Job Summary:
- Provide clinical care and consultation.
- Prescribe necessary treatment within the scope of practice and assess patient's clinical problems and healthcare needs.
- Prescribe medications in compliance with established medical protocols and in compliance with government agencies and guidelines.
- Educate patients on preventive care and health safety issue.
- Evaluate and treat patients in the skilled nursing facility setting or post-discharge at the patient's residential facility or private residence.
- Perform annual wellness exam for senior Medicare patients at a residential facility or clinic setting.
- Cover for other primary care physicians when necessary.
- Evaluate and treat patients independently.
- Obtain patient's medical history and documenting in EMR.
- Create a progress note for each patient encounter in EMR and must be completed after each examination.
- Promote a friendly, warm, and exceptional customer experience.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential by abiding by all HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate on assessed medical conditions.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director, MDs, and Director of Operations.
