NURSE INTERNS, GRADUATE NURSES, AND REGISTERED NURSES!!

Don’t miss this opportunity to join our Medical/Surgical team! Black River Memorial Hospital has openings for Registered Nurses in our Med/Surg Department. The Registered Nurse plans and provides comprehensive patient care as well as manages available nursing resources and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.

The positions available are:

  • (2) Full-time positions, 72 hours per pay period, night shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays
  • (1) Full-time position, 72 hours per pay period, day shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays
  • (1) Full-time position, 72 hours per pay period paid for 80, weekender, benefited
  • (1) Part-time position, 48 hours per pay period, night shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays

Essential Duties Include:

  • Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards.
  • Provides individualized patient and family-focused care throughout the patient’s stay.
  • Initiates effective after-care and referral plans on admission utilizing appropriate hospital and community resources.
  • Participates in patient and family education as evidenced by teaching documentation with appropriate resources.

Educational Qualifications GN & RN:

  • Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma RN.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • BLS within 3 months of hire
  • ACLS within 1- year
  • Current licensed Wisconsin RN

Educational Qualifications for NI:

  • Completion of an adult process and two semesters in nursing of an accredited associate degree nursing program as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN- formerly NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) in good standing
  • Completion of the junior year of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program and is a senior in good standing
  • Completion of an active registry status as a certified nursing assistant in the state of Wisconsin
  • BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire
