As a professional team member, you are the face of Planet Fitness. We are a rapidly expanding fitness franchise promoting a non-intimidating and user friendly atmosphere for our members. We have built a reputation consisting of renowned customer appreciation, prompt service, high quality equipment, and a clean and comfortable environment.

Our team members are responsible for creating and upholding the Judgement Free Zone at all times while performing duties in accordance with our policies and procedures. Summary of Experience Preferred:

• Customer service experience (Preferred 1+ year)
• High School Diploma
• 18 years of age or older

Summary of Key Requirements

• Always ensure the member or guest receives respect, concern, and attention in all interactions.
• Display a friendly, calm, and professional attitude, especially during high volume periods while consistently evaluating the environment to assess customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with managers and team members so required responses to questions or unusual events can be handled promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with new associate training by modeling team expectations and providing positive reinforcement and encouragement.
• Follow operational procedures including adhering to all safety protocols, cash handling, and documentation as instructed.
• Ensure attention to detail when cleaning assigned equipment and taking pride in maintaining the gym.
• Maintain consistent attendance for shifts and punctuality.
• Contribute to the Planet Fitness culture by promoting team morale, delivering quality and consistent customer service, and acting with integrity and professionalism for all essential responsibilities.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Must be able to learn quickly in an active, fast paced environment.
• Ability to understand and communicate both orally and via written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Comfortable working as part of a team while assuming shared responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft software knowledge.
• Address adherence to established policies diplomatically and uphold standards of conduct.
• Strong language skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

• Talking and communication with staff and members by means of the spoken word.
• Frequent computer and POS register usage and fitness equipment programming and operation.
• Standing and walking throughout entirety of shift.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 60lbs.
• Constant bending, kneeling, and occasional crawling while cleaning large sections of the club.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other materials and equipment.
• During periods of high volume, times for break will be limited to promote the highest of efficiency
• Ability to flex, rotate, and manipulate body positioning throughout all three planes of motion.

Weekday Shifts:

Mon - Thur: 6am - 1pm (Part Time)

Mon - Thur: 8am - 3pm (Part Time)
