BBG&G Advertising is currently seeking an experienced New Business Development Specialist / Account Executive who is capable of setting and implementing our business development strategy to align with our agency’s strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of marketing, advertising and sales experience along with a proven track record of identifying, nurturing and acquiring new clients in order to drive our firm’s growth and profitability. This candidate must be extremely organized, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be strong in engaging and developing clients through a wide array of creative business development tactics. * Please note the salary range is base salary plus commission and is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

•The successful candidate will spend roughly 60% of their day on new business development and 40% on account management .

•Utilize a combination of traditional and digital business development tactics and established contacts / previous clients to attract prospects, build engagement, and sign new clients

· Work closely with CEO to set and implement new business development strategy

· Attend networking events

· Respond to RFP’s

· Make presentations as needed

· Conduct educational webinars

· Speak at targeted conferences and events

· Research the competitive landscape and industry trends

· Collaborate closely with managers to direct BBG&G’s targeted PR and content marketing including webinars, blogs, newsletters, website content, videos, social media, SEO, etc.

· Manage client accounts and any necessary client retention

· Develop strong relationships with influencers and referral sources

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MBA in Marketing, Communications or related area
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with potential clients
  • Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent Marketing, Advertising and Sales skills and abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Base Salary of $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year plus Commission, with potential to earn up to $100,000.00 per year.

  • Previous New Business Development / Networking experience (Required) with active rolodex (Preferred)
  • Experience with project management tools (Preferred)
  • Experience with Mac OS (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Preferred)
