Provides technical leadership and hands-on work to ensure all company networking and server systems are operating at peak efficiency and reliability, while maintaining high levels of security. Manages both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and related software solutions. Looks for opportunities to make improvements to existing infrastructure assets to maximize value, stability, and performance. Stays abreast of new infrastructure technologies and makes recommendations for adoption, in conjunction with IT leadership. Ensures all server images and data, as well as network configurations are backed up on a regular basis to support recovery objectives.

Plans and implements projects for improvements or new technologies. Works with key third-party technology and support vendors to extend Sovos’s capabilities for advanced projects and support. Works collaboratively with process engineering team and other departments to support their projects and daily operational needs.

This is a hybrid position based in Bellvue, Colorado.

Key Skills:

Network Administration:

• Manages, configures, and troubleshoots all company network devices for LAN, WAN, enterprise, cloud, and plant (industrial) networking scenarios.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco iOS and Cisco ASA. Experience with Allen-Bradley Stratix switches is desirable. Experience with Fortinet next-generation firewall is desirable.
• Knowledge of advanced networking topologies, fail-over configurations, and stack-wise redundancy.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Cisco Meraki Security Appliances, Wireless Access Points, and switches. Hardware VPN between sites, including cloud infrastructure providers

Server and System Administration:

• Advanced Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 administration, including multiple Server Roles
• Advanced Active Directory, Domain Controller configuration, Windows DNS, and Group Policy management.
• Advanced SAML/OAUTH authentication
• Privileged Access Management and Mutli-Factor Authentication (Desirable)
• Advanced Email Security features including SPF, DKIM and DMARC
• Advanced VMware/vSphere virtualization and Veeam backup solution.
• Advanced security best practices across all technologies.
• Amazon AWS or Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Desirable).
• Advanced PowerShell scripting.

Other:

• Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange, Admin Center, AD Sync, etc.
• Azure Endpoint Manager/InTune
• End-to-End security best practices including endpoints, servers, network, email, etc.
• Alerting and monitoring software.

• Project management and communication, both oral and written. Knowledge sharing and documentation of technical solutions and support procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years as lead system and network administrator
• 4+ years managing Cisco iOS switches and ASA’s in both LAN and WAN configurations, including advanced fail-over and redundancy topologies.
• 4+ years advanced Windows Server experience, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and security best practices
• 4+ years deploying and managing virtual servers, preferably using VMware with Veeam.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Networking experience in a manufacturing or industrial context preferred.
• Demonstrated project management and documentation experience.
