POSITION OVERVIEW

PWCC’s continued growth has brought us a unique opportunity to join our team as a Network Engineer. Reporting to the I.T. Manager, the Network Engineer is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities in support of the company’s I.T. department, working closely with team members and sharing experience and knowledge every day. The position requires a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills who follows a structured approach for designing, administering, and implementing IT network solutions. The Network Engineer position will play a driving role in scoping and development as well as creating policy and procedure (solutions and documents such as templates, methodologies, best practices or lessons learned). Primarily this role will deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions in the PWCC environment. The ideal candidate is an individual who is always looking for system improvement and who can work within a growth-driven organization. This is an onsite position in Tigard, OR.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Activation and turn up of network equipment and infrastructure
• Failover testing
• Monitoring network security devices
• Troubleshooting
• Investigation of events and incidents
• Deployment of devices
• Troubleshooting of end-user networking issues
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years of experience in networking, firewalls or cybersecurity required
• 2-4 years working in a LAN/WAN environment required
• Fortinet / Fortigate Security and administration experience
• CCNA or CCNP
• Fortinet NSE Certification strongly desired
• Cisco Router/Routing Background
• Ability to function in and adapt appropriately to a fast-paced environment with competing demands on time and priorities
• Proactive critical thinker and problem solver who can troubleshoot technical issues
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong planning and time management abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills

TEAM BIO

Oversees the installation and maintenance of computer network systems within PWCC. Set up accounts and emails for all new hires along with machine deployment and setup.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
