Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Multi-Client Manhattan WMS Manager to support our Franklin, IN operation. As a Multi-Client Manhattan WMS Manager, you will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, troubleshooting and deployment tasks of our Manhattan WMS platform of applications and features.. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
Duties:
- Provide strong WMS, Logistics and Integration Functional knowledge
- Understand the business processes within Manhattan Scale and how each application supports these processes, and applies this knowledge to best solve problems
- Work closely with business owners to identify and document business requirements to meet the end user needs
- Understand configuration dependencies and integration points between functional modules of ERP’s and is able to troubleshoot in the area with this knowledge
- Develop functional training documentation for the WMS applications
- Support development of comprehensive Technical Requirements documents
- Support WMS configuration and unit/functional testing, for required applications
- Act as a functional lead and support on WMS projects
- Support development, QA, basis and other IT departments
- Provide production support, with problem resolution and escalation when necessary
- Support planning and execution of project rollout tasks and implementations
- Act as an advocate for the internal and external customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
- Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
- Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and innovative solutions for our customers
- Provide technical support or training for systems and networks
- Act as link between end users and higher level support
- Monitor WMS system
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems and software.
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and technology including: Systems and RF Technologies
- Hands-on configuration experience inside WMS
- Experience configuring and integrating with non-SAP WMS systems is an asset
- Basic troubleshooting and ability to resolve problems in SCALE is an asset
- Experience with SQL Server and scripting is an asset
- Computer Science related degree or experience, with formal training in the areas of Supply Chain and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and end to end Supply Chain business processes
- Strong analytical, gap analysis, and problem solving skills
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Able to effectively manage priorities
- Experienced in Functional testing and production delivery
- Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving SCALE functional problems via defect resolution and support desk tools.
- Experience with supporting a 24x7 warehouse operations environment where support issues are addressed and resolved off hours when required. Shift work will be required to support the business during peak periods. Supporting multiple sites will be required
- Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal customer and able to effectively manage customer expectations when resolving issues.
- Able to lead, plan and project manage medium to large sized projects
- Able to make timely and accurate decisions sometimes under tight deadlines and pressure
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced culture bringing creative ideas and effective brainstorming skills to the role
- Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently and lead others
Preferred Education/Certifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, IS/IT or equivalent education experience
- Microsoft certification or training
- WMS certification or training
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
