Driving: The primary duty of a motorcoach operator is to drive the vehicle safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and regulations.

Passenger safety: Ensuring the safety of passengers is a critical part of the job. The operator should be aware of the safety features of the vehicle, such as emergency exits, seat belts, and airbags, and should provide instructions to passengers on how to use them.
