Seasonal position with the opportunity to apply for permanent employment. Starting as early as March ending mid October. Servicing Monmouth, Ocean, Mercer, Morris, Union and Middlesex Counties.

• Looking for motivated individuals to add to our team. Last Bite Mosquito and Tick Control is the largest and most reputable Mosquito control company in New Jersey. Come join a winning team, and help us “Reclaim Yards” throughout the Garden State. Our technicians travel to customer homes to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard mosquito-free for 21 days taking great pride in customer service. No prior experience necessary

What Our Technicians Do

• Travel to each client's home or business
• Inspect and treat for mosquito activity
• Survey each property
• Treat standing water with larvicide
• Apply a barrier treatment to the surrounding landscaping using a backpack sprayer
• Participate in marketing initiatives
• Maintain good customer relationships.

Technicians must be flexible with their workings hours, since tick and mosquito services are weather dependent. We strive to provide a routine work schedule for our workers and consider their personal needs. Extensive driving may also be required throughout the season.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be courteous and customer service minded at all times.
• Productive use of service and travel time.
• Maintain care, custody, and control of company vehicle, equipment, materials, supplies, and records.
• Respond to unscheduled requests for service; make phone calls necessary to maintain complete and open lines of communication to all concerned associates, office staff, and the client.
• Treating 10-15 properties each day.
• Identifying areas of concern using a map of the property provided to you such as: areas of standing water, property lines, gardens, environmentally sensitive areas.
• Document daily work activity including product use in hand-held device.
• Responsible for making sure safe work practices are performed at all times.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions required by the company (mandatory).
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including compliance with Last Bite Mosquito. professional appearance requirements.
• Identify harborage areas where mosquito and ticks reside.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• No prior experience necessary
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and clean driving record
• Customer service oriented with positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Self-motivated, reliable and prompt, must be able to work alone efficiently
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Professional appearance a must.
• Problem solving and time management skills are necessary.
• Ability to work outdoors during the summer months (8 hours per day).
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Smart Phone capable mobile device.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Carry 60lb. backpack
• Pass Pre employment screening
• Attend required licensing course
