Our Residential Lending Department is looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Closer to join our team in helping our members realize their dream of homeownership. The Mortgage Loan Closer must possess strong organizational and prioritization skills and a basic understanding of Conventional TRID loan guidelines. Performance requires a high degree of accuracy, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Loan Closers receive moderate supervision in the performance of duties and responsibilities. Work is generally evaluated on obtaining objectives with accuracy, timeliness and results.

This position is a remote position that will require the ability to report to our Bridgewater, NJ location as needed. Candidate must be commutable to our Bridgewater, NJ location.

Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare loan closing documents with production software system (Encompass) to be sent to title companies for closing
• Complete an accurate and compliant Closing Disclosure to be provided to the borrower within the TRID timing guideline requirements and monitor the borrower’s receipt of the disclosure
• Ensure accuracy of documents sent to closing
• Review underwriting closing conditions to ensure salability of loan and adherence to the underwriting decision
• Coordinate funding dates with accounting to ensure accuracy of loan disbursements
• Coordinate closing packages with title companies in a timely fashion
• Verify loan closes within specified locks with investors
• Perform post-closing tasks such as booking and boarding the loan through Encompass to our servicer, Cenlar. Send all wires needed for loan closing and post-closing
• Send title to our review attorney and perform closer title review for items needed from settlement agent. Follow up and ensure all final title and recorded mortgage are received post-closing
• Report to Bridgewater office bi-weekly for scanning of docs to servicer

• This position is a remote position that requires the employee to report to the Bridgewater, NJ office bi-weekly. Candidate must be commutable to Bridgewater, NJ. You are expected to provide your own equipment and connectivity in order to perform your relative job duties.
