This is a part-time mobile medical assistant wound care position.

Job summary

The clinical medical assistant works closely with patients, physicians, certified nurse practitioners and other clinical medical receptionists as part of a team in administering varied medical services in a pleasant, professional manner. Therefore, the clinical medical assistant is integral to shaping the patients' impression of Complete Care Center, which could shape the patient-provider relationship for the long-term.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Schedule medical procedures, draw blood, take patient medical histories, update patient medical files, take blood pressure and body temperatures, administer electrocardiograms, instruct patients on proper usage of medications, schedule hospital admissions, phone in prescriptions to various pharmacies, collect lab specimens, sterilize medical instruments, assist during minor procedures, perform lab tests, surgical procedure setups, pap setup, perform ear irrigations, etc.

Minimum requirements

1. Verifiable recent past clinical medical assistant experience

2. Medical Assistant Certification (required to maintain during length of employment)

3. Prefer Associate’s Degree

4. Ability to perform Essential Job Functions

5. Punctual and reliable

6. Pleasant, professional, and congenial

7. Ability to multi-task

8. Clean background – candidate should have positive professional references.

9. Efficient and accurate medical skills

10. Ability to work as part of a team, but follow through independently
