Job description
We are looking for a helper on our mobile slaughter truck, 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week Monday-Friday. We are a small, busy, family owned and operated meat shop located in Oakland, OR.
Typical day starts at 5am, preparing the truck and driving to various ranches throughout the county. Duties include but not limited to slaughter, removing hide and contamination from carcasses, breakdown of full carcass to half or quarter carcass to load on truck and deliver back to shop. This includes using various machinery, knives and hands.
