Job description

We are seeking a hardworking, experienced Structural / Civil Engineer. This position must be licensed as a Professional Engineer, by exam, in state of residence with ability to be licensed in other states.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
· Promote safety as the company’s number one priority
· Support, promote, and participate in the SPADE (Safe People Always Determine Excellence) programs
· Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and company information
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture
· Proficient with CAD programs including design ideas
· Must be capable of interacting with other engineering disciplines, construction project managers and clients
· Must be willing to promote turnkey projects and participate in overall sales of company services and products
· Ability to provide estimates of engineering and case studies for turnkey projects
· Designs load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as buildings, platforms, bridge decks, etc.
· Performs analysis of building materials for use in construction.
· Develops blueprints, detail drawings, and/or specifications for use during construction and ensures all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations.
· Determines cause of structural failures, damages, and defects through site investigations.
· Provides reports detailing investigations and assessment of damages to the structure.
· Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:
· Possess a valid driver’s license
· Professional level communication skills, with the ability to understand, read, and write the English language
· Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of direct experience in the field.
· Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with little supervision
· Demonstrated ability to manage daily activities to produce quality work product within tight time frames
· Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work

Salary could go higher for the right candidate, full per diem, company vehicle, gas card, this is contract-to-hire on a 6-9 month project.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
