JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Metal Stamper in Rochester, MI. Our client is a Metal Stamping facility that specializes in making connectors for the automotive industry.

Hours

• 3 pm - 11 pm
• 11 pm - 7 am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate (setup a plus) part in part out, transfer line.
• Work from internal and customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Be able to use calipers, height gages, and functional gages
• Be able to run production efficiently as well as working with engineering on prototyping projects.
• Complete and maintain accurate shop paperwork.
• Perform daily 6S duties.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to use caliper, height gage, functional gages, etc.
• Must have a solid working knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.
• Possess a drive for achieving production, while focusing on safety and quality.
• Capable of working in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50-pounds.
• Must be reliable, and have good attendance.
