About Us

Neuro Wellness Spa is an office-based psychiatric practice that offers in-network psychiatry and alternative treatments for mental health including rTMS, MeRT therapy, Spravato and IV nutrition. We are looking to hire two part time Mental Health Techs (Front and Back Office) to assist our RN with Spravato treatments(nasal ketamine).

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome patients as they arrive to the office
• Monitor the Nurse phone and email, schedule and reschedule Spravato, and IV nutrition appointments as needed
• Observe patients self-administering Spravato treatments according to specific protocols. Set up the treatment space and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with mood disorders and/or chronic pain.
• Obtain and monitor vital signs, troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.
• Record session notes and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software.
• Communicate appropriately and clearly with RNs and psychiatrists who oversee patient treatment, especially any changes in patient condition
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor and interface well with patients in a mental-health setting.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and use good judgment regarding patient confidentiality
• Perform various back-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment, as assigned
• Maintain clinic patient flow, balancing registration requirements and documents, patient appointment times and non-appointment activities.
• Maintain work area and lobby in neat manner

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mental Health Care: 1 year (Required)
• Authorization: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 2 years (Preferred)
