The Field Museum is a not-for-profit organization located on the Museum Campus of Chicago. Since the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, we have conducted research across all seven continents and accumulated a collection of over 40 million specimens and artifacts.



The Field Museum is searching for a Membership Operations Manager to join our team!


The Membership Operations Manager ensures members and donors receive excellent customer service, promotes onsite membership opportunities to all guests, and works with the Annual Fund and Membership Director to meet revenue goals.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Membership Manager of Operations will accomplish department objectives by acting as a liaison between Visitor Services and Membership, including ongoing communication, setting onsite sales goals, managing the membership sales incentive program, and offering additional training as needed. They will develop and maintain onsite experiences for members and donors, including seasonal Members' Lounge opportunities throughout the year.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer service sales environment
  • Open schedule availability - must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), database systems (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge a plus), and POS systems
  • Ability to prioritize and implement strategic plans in a multiple-priority environment
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
