New England Kenworth Burlington, one of the top-rated Kenworth, Hino & Isuzu dealerships in the country, is looking for a full-time Medium/Light Duty Service Technician to join our team!

• Compensation will depend on experience. Position is eligible for monthly bonuses as well as time and a half over 40 hours!

The ideal candidate would be entry level to mid-level and eager to learn and grow within the company through company paid trainings!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

• Performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with our in-house and manufacturers’ standards
• Performing work with timeliness and accuracy
• Batteries - starting and charging
• Fluid exchanges such as oil, coolant, power steering, etc.
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections
• Engine and Chassis maintenance
• Verifying vehicle performance by conducting test-drives; adjusting controls and systems
• Perform repairs to gas and diesel engines as well as drive lines and brakes
• Maintaining all necessary training requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Gas and Diesel engine knowledge a PLUS!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Current valid driver’s license issued in state of residence with proper endorsements;
• Must have own tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will require, at different times and frequencies, sitting, standing, walking, lifting and bending. Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
