We are seeking part-time Trained Medication Aides (TMAs) to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.
Positions Available include working every other weekend and every other holiday:
- 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Part-time 40 - 64 hours per pay period)
- 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Part-time 40 - 64 hours per pay period)

Location Information
Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview and Woodbury. Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 224 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.
Responsibilities
As delegated by the licensed nurse, the TMA administers medications (non-injectable and non-parenteral) and treatments as assigned; observes conditions and reports information to the licensed nurse; demonstrates a proven ability to meet to requirements of the NAR job description.
Qualifications
Education:
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant course with the State of MN Registry (required)
- Trained Medication Assistant course (required)
Experience:
- Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant Registered required
- Experience as a Trained Medication Assistant preferred
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Certified by the State of Minnesota as a Trained Medication Assistant
- Listed on the Minnesota State Registry for Nursing Assistant
- Meets summary of Physical Demands
- Attends required educational in-services/classes
