Medical Scheduler for Busy Cardiology Office Needed

Job Title: Medical Scheduler

Location: Salem, OR

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Description:

Fast-paced Cardiology clinic seeking a full-time appointment scheduler. Must be able to work in high pressure environment for a team of Cardiology providers. EPIC/EHR experience is preferred. Must have a positive attitude, ability to work as a team, ability to take direction, ability to manage multiple tasks and the desire to give patients a positive experience. Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Scheduler is responsible for:

-High volume of incoming calls

-Scheduling various types of appointments

-Accurately entering patient information into EHR (EPIC)

-Familiarizing self with all health insurance types

-Possible coverage at satellite clinics or front desk

-Working independently to complete multitude of scheduling-related tasks
