Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services AND 1 year of paid practical experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Education or the humanities and 3 years of paid experience .
  • Must be able to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
  • Drug Screening

Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Housing Advocate works as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide assistance with discharge planning, housing, benefit coordination, and supportive case management for individuals that enter the Medical Respite program. Using a Housing First, strength-based and trauma-informed approach, you will assist individuals in their goal planning as they strengthen life skills.

If you are a self-starter who is o rganized and flexible, we are looking for you. Knowledge of regional housing programs is preferred, but not necessary.
