Fort Wayne Medical Oncology & Hematology is currently recruiting for a Full time Medical Records Specialist with a Monday - Friday work schedule within a medical office setting.

The successful candidate will provide:

* Excellent Customer & Patient service

* Possess the ability to function in a high-volume, fast paced medical office setting while demonstrating great multi-tasking skills along with good computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Accurate scanning of information into the EMR charts and importing information from the fax queue

* Preparing new patient records in an accurate & timely manner

* Ensuring accurate & complete records are copied, imported / exported, faxed or mailed as requested for outside entities etc.

* Medical Terminology preferred

* Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Post high school education preferred.

* A minimum of 2 year multi-physician office experience required.
