We provide technical support to one of Illinois top gastroenterology private practice. We are looking for candidates to fill the Part/Full-time position of Medical Receptionist, who have the responsibility to answer a high volume of incoming calls from patients, pharmacies and other health care providers, among other callers. Must also do scheduling, insurance verification and request of prior authorizations and referrals among other duties.

We are looking for candidate able to work in a fast-paced environment that have the requirements and qualities needed for this position and desire to grow in a stable career. Our office is located in old San Juan. Welcome nearby candidates to send applications.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Health insurance knowledge
• Billing / Coding knowledge
• High call volume management
• Experience with EMR
• Medical knowledge is a plus

• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office & EMR)
• Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)
